The Steam Page Is Live — A Milestone Before the Milestone

It Feels Real Now

The Steam page is live. It feels like just the other day I was telling myself "I should make a game someday" — and now there's an actual Steam page for Talisman Codes. The game isn't even out yet, and I'm already proud.

The Road Wasn't Smooth

Getting here wasn't exactly easy. First, there's the $100 registration fee — $100 per game. It's structured as a refundable deposit: you get it back once the game crosses $1,000 in revenue.

The Paperwork Wall

Beyond that, there were tax forms, corporate verification documents, and a pile of other administrative steps to work through. This kind of non-development work shows up every single time — with every new project, with every new platform. I'm not great at it, and honestly, I don't enjoy it either.

Launch Date: July 1, 2026

I'm targeting July 1, 2026 for release. It might be ambitious, but I want to ship as soon as I reasonably can. Seeing my game live in the world — that's what I'm working toward.

One Day at a Time

To make that date real, I need to push the game forward a little every day. No shortcuts. Just steady progress.

The Steam page being live makes all of this feel real. Now I just have to build a game worthy of it.
